GOLF VIEW KIDS BATHROOM
Repurposing this old primary bathroom for a brother and sister to share unlocked something unexpected: a walk-in closet for each of their bedrooms.
The real design challenge was creating a space that felt elevated and special without skewing too young or too feminine — a bathroom that could belong to both of them, and grow with them as they do. Rachel reached for a blue-green palette with staying power, layered against a Schumacher geometric wallpaper that brings just enough energy without being overwhelming. A classic heated checkerboard floor grounds the space in timeless pattern, while the shower floor adds a playful contrast that keeps things from feeling too serious.
Durability was non-negotiable — porcelain throughout, easy to clean, built for real daily use by real kids. Mixed metals in gold and polished nickel add character without trying too hard. And the linen closet, fitted with custom shelving and double doors dressed in beautiful hardware, manages to feel like a small luxury tucked into an otherwise hardworking space.
Chic, functional, and designed to age well — just like the kids it was built for.
