MUDROOM AND LAUNDRY RENOVATION
We’re excited to share one of our renovation projects that turned a cluttered and uninspired space into a stylish and functional entryway and mudroom. If you’ve ever struggled with a messy entry or wished for a more organized way to handle everyday comings and goings, you’ll love this transformation. When we first stepped into this home, the entryway and mudroom were in need of some serious love. The space was outdated with minimal storage and no defined areas for a busy family of four. The family was dealing with a jumble of items strewn about, creating a chaotic and unwelcoming environment right at the front door.
We started by maximizing storage with custom-built cabinetry. The new design includes a series of cubbies, cupboards, and hooks, each tailored to meet the family's needs. The built-in bench is perfect for putting on shoes and provides additional hidden storage underneath. We also incorporated hooks for coats and bags, ensuring everything has its place.
To handle the high traffic and occasional mud, we chose a durable, stylish tile for the flooring. The unique herringbone pattern not only complements the overall design but also makes a seamless segue into the laundry room.
Our designer opted for bright, welcoming floors and walls to make the space feel airy and open while bringing dark, moody storage and shelving, creating a modern atmosphere that still feels lively and inviting.
The laundry room design brings in ample places to wash, dry, fold, and hang clothes while feeling modern and looking clean.
The renovation has truly transformed the space from a disorganized entryway into a charming, efficient hub. The family now enjoys a clutter-free zone where everything is within reach and neatly stored. The new design not only enhances functionality but also adds significant aesthetic appeal, making the entryway a space they’re proud to show off.
